Hoi An receives most favourite city award

Speaking at the ceremony, Le Van Giang, Chairman of the Hoi An City People’s Committee, stressed that the city has spared no effort to improve its services and facility in order to maintain reputation as an attractive destination for domestic and international tourists. Hoi An was recognised as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. Its building and its street plan reflects the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site.
